About
Angela is the Director of Johnson & Johnson, Microbiological Quality & Sterility Assurance, Research & Development. In her current role, she has global responsibility for the end to end execution of Depuy Synthes microbiological quality programs and for bringing innovative medical technology products to customers and patients around the world. Angela joined J&J in 2015 as Director of Quality Systems for Ethicon. Since then, she has held increasing leadership positions as Director Quality Systems for Ethicon, Ethicon Endo-Surgery & CSS and Director Quality Management Systems for J&J Medical Technology. Angela was recognized as a 2019 J&J North America Business Leader for medical device quality and compliance. Angela has over 20 years of experience leading pharmaceutical and medical technology teams. Prior to J&J, Angela held leadership positions in microbiology, quality operations and compliance at SGS Laboratories, CSL Plasma and Haemonetics Corporation. At Haemonetics Corporation she held the position of Director, Global Quality & Scientific Services and responsible for ethylene oxide, radiation and steam sterilization, industrial microbiology, chemistry, stability and biocompatibility. Angela’s pragmatic approach along with her combination of science and business expertise provides her with a unique perspective to drive results and develop high performing teams. Angela formerly served on the PDA southeast chapter advisory board and currently is a Women in STEM (WiSTEM) and Rutgers Bridge to Employment volunteer.
